We are gearing up for Christmas in the Jones’ household. We don’t have our Christmas tree yet because things keep coming up that prevent us from going out to purchase it. But, we’re excited nevertheless. Although we don’t have our tree yet, there are little touches of Christmas all over the house. The banister upstairs is decorated. The stockings are hanging above the fireplace and Christmas music is playing. My 4-year old nephew came over this weekend and we baked and decorated Christmas cookies. We had a great time!

K is a happy little boy. He’ll be 9 months old next week and he’s getting around all over the house. He’s not crawling yet, but he scoots, he pulls himself up to standing position and he rolls.

Unfortunately, this week, he has his first cold and I think that I’ve discovered what he hates most in this world—getting his nose suctioned out. My husband and I have to wrestle him down just to get him to hold still so we can clear out his nose. Other than our colds (because I’m sick too), we’re counting down until Christmas.
