I was very discouraged to find out this week that Earth’s Best bottled baby food contains sodium.  At least the baby sweet potatoes do.  They contain 50 mg of sodium.  That seems a bit excessive to me for a baby food.  I don’t understand why companies add sodium to baby food.  Why don’t they just write babies a prescription for blood pressure meds now?!?  Needless to say, I took all of my jars back to the store for a refund.  I guess I will be making my own baby food after all.  However, after reading a few Mom blogs, I do feel a bit more encouraged and informed.  I’m going to puree some sweet potatoes for K tonight.  I guess this is teaching me that I have to be a better steward of my time.  I have to be a better planner.  I’m thinking about putting together a monthly menu for my husband and K.  This will make grocery shopping and meals a lot easier.  What do some of you experienced Mommies do?  Any suggestions from other Mommies out there are welcomed!

Also, random question, does your baby snore?
