Before I had a baby, I didn’t even know what a butternut squash was. However, in my effort to make sure that my little one eats a well-balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, I discovered the vitamin-packed baby food. Here’s a quick recipe for “Baby Loves It” Butternut Squash. Share it with your friends!

Start with an organic butternut squash. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Wash, peel and cut into squares. Don't forget to scoop out the seeds!
Add butter, 1 1/2 cup of water, 2 teaspoons of olive oil and cinnamon. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
After baking, use a ricer to create a smooth consistency. After riced, add applesauce for sweetness and serve.
