Welcome to the Weekly Roundup! This is a new theme for Throw Up & Theology that we will post every Friday. The Weekly Roundup will include all of the important (according to me) and interesting news and events that we blogged about or shared on social media during the week. The news and events will be those that pertain to my blog life, motherhood, Jesus, ministry, widowhood, parenting, Epilepsy, the effects of drunk driving, or wherever the Lord leads. I hope it will be beneficial to you!

I had my first speaking opportunity for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)!

The Epilepsy Foundation’s National Walk is this Saturday, March 22nd in Washington, DC
I am walking with Team SUDEP (Sudden unexplained death in Epilepsy) this Saturday in honor of my late husband (Read this and this to learn about Gabe’s story). Every year thousands of lives are devastated by this horrible disease. The money raised will go towards more research and support for families impacted by Epilepsy. Please visit my fundraising page here if you’d like to donate.

A suicide averted
TV One News Anchor Roland Martin intervened and helped save a mother on the verge of suicide through his Twitter account. As a result, I added the National Suicide Prevention lifeline to Throw Up & Theology’s Resource’s page. Please share it with someone who may need it!

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus is Awesome!
I took my children to see the circus this week and it was amazing! My 7-month old was even captivated by all of the music, dances, animals and performances. If this circus comes to your town, I highly recommend it for the little ones! Please visit their website here for information and their itinerary!

It is officially Spring! Celebrate by a trip to Rita’s Italian Ice!

That’s all for this week! Have a blessed weekend!
