There is nothing so bracing as a walk. A power walk, a stroll, a meander – whatever you want to call it, you need to get your sneakers on and go. Whether you go it alone or you head out in a group, you need to consider why you’re going for this walk – and if you need convincing, that’s what we are going to do today. 

Life is stressful and no matter how much you think you know about it, you will never really know how stressful it can be until you take a moment to breathe. Stress can lead to a number of health issues and it can make you feel sluggish and worried, so finding ways to let that stress go and be happy is important! You don’t even have to go very far – just far enough that your body feels good for it.
  3. Your health matters, and your blood pressure is likely very high under all the pressure. You should consider a walk to keep it lowered. It’s good for heart health and your blood pressure being too high is not good for it. Walking to feel healthier is a smart plan!
  4. You can be so social when you get out for a proper walk. People join walking clubs for this reason: they can meet new people and enjoy themselves and it makes a huge difference to their mental health to do so. 

The challenge that you present to yourself when you go for a power walk is huge. You are taking the time to enjoy yourself and be in the moment, but the challenge of meeting step goals and weight goals and stress-free goals? That’s the magic right there!
