*The full moon Friday night*
2020 has been like a long, dark night, but morning is coming.

I’ve wanted to do something evangelistic for the children and teens in my neighborhood for a while, but life keeps happening. Covid-19 and the devastation it’s caused this year has taken its toll on all of us – even the children. So, this Halloween or Holy Night, I am doing something to brighten their day and to let them know that God hasn’t forsaken us.

Here are my Halloween treat bags that the kids will be able to grab on their own.

I bought candy and multi-colored sandwich bags from Safeway. I put four pieces of candy in each bag.
At first I was going to cut up paper and make Christian tracks, but I decided to use mailing labels to include scripture and an encouraging word.
Here’s the final product. I’m decorating my front door and putting a sign on it to let kids know to take a baggie because we’re not opening the door because of Covid-19.

I hope the kids in the neighborhood are blessed by my gesture!
