Welcome to my blog!

In 2009 I met and fell in love with a wonderful guy. We married in 2010 and had our son a year later. Tragically in 2013, two days after our third wedding anniversary, he died unexpectedly while I was pregnant with our second baby. The Lord has comforted, encouraged and used life’s disappointments to teach me major lessons about life, love and ministry. My children are growing fast and doing well. Presently, I’m recently married to a wonderful man and starting a new journey in marriage. This blog is about my experiences and lessons learned as a minister, mother, widow and wife. This is my journey. I hope you enjoy the ride.

  1. Hello Rev. Jones,
I was looking for information about widows with children. I was studying I KING 17:9-12. How the widow responded to Elijah’s request, but had thoughts of committing suicide with her son due to a lack in the land. Your blog/testimony about loss of your husband, the dream of founding your own house of worship, pastoring together and the caring of two children. Your testimony became the premise for my Mother’s Day message 5-8-2022 at Bethel Bible Ministries, Beaumont, TX about widows, homeless mothers, Incarcerated mothers and children in need of a mother’s love.

Lord, I pray your requests be made known unto God. He gives you your heart desires, fill every void in your life with His love, peace and understanding. Lord cover her children, the ministry, her going out and coming in. Allow her words permeate the atmosphere with power and authority. AMEN
