Mourning in Bear Country

Last week the co-creator of the wonderful children’s series The Berenstain Bears, Jan Berenstain, died at the ripe age of 88. Her contribution to the children’s publishing world will be greatly missed. I grew up reading the series, and now, I read them to my son.
